Went close on turf debut at Cork over extended mile last month, raised just 2lb on that effort and extra distance to suit, looks a leading player.

Off the mark in a mile maiden on the AW at Dundalk in December on third start, makes turf debut now over longer trip and will need to improve, though that is entirely possible.

Won a maiden at Dundalk on the AW over a mile in December on ninth start. First run since and previous turf form gives him plenty to prove while he also goes beyond 1m for the first time.

Career-best to score over 1m3f at Limerick last time out on good ground, took a while to get into top gear so this drop in trip isn't necessarily in her favour. Yard remains in fine form.

Successful over 1m2f at Leopardstown (good-to-yielding) on her penultimate outing in a 19 runner handicap earlier this month. Well beaten off her revised mark at Navan subsequently but not written off just yet with tongue strap added for first time.

Showed some promise in two fair maidens last season on AW at Dundalk over shorter trip, similarly in turf debut over 1m2f at Navan in a maiden last month and cannot be discounted now switching to handicaps.

Has changed stables after a juvenile campaign which produced disappointing displays in three maidens and a handicap. His new connections immediately reach for the visor and go up significantly in trip.

Maiden has had just the five starts though will need to produce best effort yet in first-time cheekpieces to land this. Gets better terms with Tilly's Chilli on recent 7ÂľL defeat but that rival looks to have more scope to improve.

Hasn't run beyond the mile in three AW maidens at Dundalk, most recent of which was in December, and will have to improve significantly to score on handicap debut.

Unplaced in five starts last year, did show some promise in handicaps and could get involved on return to action if finding some improvement for this step up in distance.

Forecasts

Tilly's Chilli (3/1), Remember The Days (3/1), Noble Intention (5/1), Heat Of The Day (7/1), Realta (8/1), You Will Do For Me (9/1), Steelyeyed (10/1), Grey Waters (25/1), Lambikin (33/1), Oliver's Wish (66/1)

Verdict

REMEMBER THE DAYS ran a promising race on his handicap debut at Cork when finishing second, this longer trip should be in his favour and with more progress likely, he is given the nod to score. Tilly's Chilli stuck to the task gainfully to win at Limerick last time over a longer trip and is much respected in the follow up bid while Heat Of The Day and You Will Do For Me are others worthy of consideration.
  1. Remember The Days
  2. Tilly's Chilli
  3. Heat Of The Day
