Still to get off the mark after 20 starts, but has run some creditable races and was fourth of seven for his new stable at Kempton last month. Should strip fitter for the outing, but has a lot to do as a maiden under top weight.
Sixteen-race career maiden (13 on the AW), but placed on his last four starts, including last time when third of 10 at Lingfield. Lacks a turn of foot at the finish, but seems to try hard and is expected to give it his best shot again.
Lightly-raced 6yo who has not run since September, 2014. Has his long absence to overcome, but has dropped 10lb since his last run and jockey booking suggests he will be fit enough to do himself justice.
Unplaced in three AW and two turf starts, she was beaten out of sight when last seen in a Salisbury handicap last September. Can do better for a trainer noted for his patience with these types, but has something to prove at this stage.
Getting on a bit and has been around the block a few times, but he retains some ability and was made favourite for a weak Bath handicap last time, only to finish third of four. Needs to rediscover his spark back on the AW.
Nine times a winner on the AW, including over C&D, and showed there might be another race in him when a close fifth of 12 at Wolverhampton last time. That was over almost half-a-mile shorter and this return to more of a stamina test should be in his favour.
Placed three times in 12 outings, he returned from a break to finish a fair fourth of seven at this track last month. He made the pace that day and was not given a hard time when headed, so he may do better off the same handicap mark.
Remains a maiden after 18 starts, but ran a fair race at this track a couple of starts ago and is 1lb lower. Has an each-way chance in an open race.
Forecasts
Mishko (2/1), Wordiness (7/2), Bridey's Lettuce (4/1), The Juggler (5/1), Marshall Aid (8/1), Yasir (16/1), Oyster Card (20/1), Astrosecret (25/1)
Not many of these win very often, but one who knows how to get his head in front is YASIR, who may be getting on a bit but ran well over much shorter last time, indicating that he might be about to return to winning ways. Mishko, returning from a long absence, is handicapped to run a big race if fit enough, while Marshall Aid is consistent and deserves to win one of these handicaps.
