Sea The Stars gelding goes up in trip after showing just moderate promise in three starts at around the mile trip last year. Extra distance should help and jockey booking suggests better things are expected.
There was promise in last year's Newbury debut run over 6f but hasn't been able to build on it. Routinely went off too quickly on the AW over the winter and paid prices for it. Steps up in trip on return to action and has twice gone well fresh before.
Well held in maidens last year and unable to strike any sort of blow last month on handicap bow at Nottingham over this trip, fading out from the 2f pole. Plenty more needed on fifth career start.
Has more experience than plenty of these and is starting to put it to use, finishing well over 1m on two recent AW runs at Kempton. This extra yardage should help if continuing to progress.
Had shown enough in three maidens to merit strong market position for last month's handicap bow over a mile at Southwell on the AW, in trouble not long after halfway there and trailed home last. Turf debut and isn't to be cast aside yet.
Easy winner over 1m4f at Lingfield in early April having been sent to the front early, was given a lot to do back there since but stayed on well enough. Drops in trip for return to turf and is one to take seriously if he can grab a better racing position.
Final start for William Haggas saw him just denied over 7f at Kempton on the AW in October, hasn't manged to beat a rival home in three starts for this yard and significant step up in trip here needs to bring about major turnaround in fortune.
Twice raced last year but showed little on either start, and was sent off big odds on each occasion, similar tale and result on return over a mile on Kempton's AW last month. Upped markedly in trip for turf debut now with plenty to prove.
Five runs last year didn't offer much in terms of encouragement, will be tackling this sort of trip for the first time on return to action and would need the market to judge him favourable to spark any interest.

A son of Sea The Stars, Solo Mission should be capable of better things this year and this longer trip along with the booking of Moore are in his favour. He has to step up on what he has done so far however. De Vegas Kid has been dropping hints of better things to come in his recent AW runs and can be expected to build on that now stepped up in trip. Coming down in distance however is BARTHOLOMEW J, a convincing winner at Lingfield on his penultimate start. He had little chance from an unpromising position turning in back there since but stayed on well enough and should be a threat here if gaining a better track position from which to launch his bid. Oceanus needs to curtail his early enthusiasm to last home but has gone well fresh in the past.
