Impressive towards the end of last season but not quite so good so far in 2017. Beaten favourite on her seasonal reappearance before finishing third over C&D last time out. An improvement would be required now.
Makes her handicap debut without having serious threatened on any of three starts in maidens, but the handicap mark she has been allotted looks fair and she's sure to improve for the step up in trip for a trainer whose horses tend to get better as they get older.
Came close to getting off the mark at Ascot last year (1m, good), in the manner of a horse who may have wanted further having been racing over 7f for most of her juvenile career. Steps up to this trip for the first time now.
Lightly-raced and has acquitted herself well in her races so far, it's difficult to gauge how suitable this opening handicap mark is but has shown signs of promise for a top handler and could go well here.
Has been better since switched to handicap company after an ordinary juvenile campaign last term. May ideally want a little bit more given in the ground than she's likely to get here but she has also given the impression she could be well handicapped.
C&D winner last time out who goes up 8lb for that but would seem to be a progressive filly who could overcome that rise if continuing with the progress she has shown so far.
Only moderate form last year, albeit behind some useful types, and it's interesting that connections reach for a first time visor on her season reappearance. Best watched on this handicap debut.
Interesting that connections stay over this C&D after she finished last of all over it last time when looking like a doubtful stayer. Some elements of her pedigree suggest she should be able to get this trip, but others make more appeal.
Has failed to get involved on any of his career starts so far, and remains on the same mark now as when well beaten over C&D last time out.
Has shown little on five career starts to date, including over this C&D, and has given the impression that she will need to go down the weights a little more before having a good chance in a race.

It is entirely likely that there is more to come from Lady Hester, who ran a fine race at Chelmsford last time out for her top connections and has shown promise on other occasions in the past as well, while Midnight Vixen goes off what looks a fair mark for this handicap debut. Preference, though, is for CANBERRA CLIFFS. This progressive filly has shot up the weights for a decisive C&D victory last time but looks to have plenty more improvement in her and could make it 2/2 at this course today.
