Campaigned mainly on AW tracks these days, but has form on turf and has his first run for his respected stable. Improvement is possible and he is one to note in the betting following his break.
Successful over 7f here in June, 2016. Made a pleasing reappearance over C&D a week ago and, given her course form, is one of the leading contenders.
Four wins in 25 starts on turf, but the last of them came at this track in August 2015. Has been trying his luck over hurdles, but has cut little ice and did not show a great deal on the AW at Southwell last time. Readily opposed.
Ran five times in 2016, showing little after being gelded. Only four and has time to get his career back on track, but cannot be fancied on recent evidence.
Only one placing in 11 starts on turf and AW, so he needs to find improvement for his new stable on his seasonal reappearance.
Veteran performer who landed a selling handicap at this course last July. 1lb lower here, he has his chance but recent efforts have not been encouraging.
Won on the AW at Wolverhampton earlier this month so he is in good heart for the switch to turf. Has gone up in the weights and does not appear particularly well handicapped.
Old campaigner who has won seven races in 84 starts. Unplaced on his last three visits to this track so others make more appeal.
Has competed in over 200 races under Rules, but remains enthusiastic at the age of 11 and ran well to be second at this track last week following a lengthy break. Will have his supporters, but younger legs may prevail.
Another at the veteran stage, he was behind Jonnie Skull here last week and bids to turn the tables on the same terms. That seems unlikely.
Has shown nothing over hurdles on her last three starts and tries her luck back on the Flat. Little on her CV to suggest she will be winning this.
Clipped heels and came down over a furlong out on the AW at Wolverhampton when last seen in February. Was going well enough at the time and it will be interesting to see how he fares back on turf.
Irish import who has her first run for her new stable. Best watched on this occasion unless the market speaks heavily in her favour.
Forecasts
Kafeel (7/4), Sir Jamie (6/1), Buzz Lightyere (8/1), Ettie Hart (8/1), Lutine Charlie (14/1), Fairy Mist (16/1), Provoking (16/1), Jonnie Skull (16/1), Jesse Tree (16/1), Port Lairge (20/1), Indus Valley (25/1), Mobley Chaos (25/1), Machiavelian Storm (100/1)
One or two old favourites try their luck again, but they may have to take a back seat to top weight KAFEEL, who has his first run for Gary Moore. Ettie Hart looks his main danger.
- Kafeel
- Ettie Hart
- Mobley Chaos
