Ran on late at Tramore on bumper bow last month, beaten under 10L in finishing third of 11. Scope for better.
Some moderate promise in bumpers at Gowran Park and Cork over the last couple of months, probably needs to unlock more to score here however.
Touch of Land gelding represents yard with modest bumper record, more likely to hit the frame, if anything, on debut appearance.
Yeats gelding will be sporting a tongue strap on debut, represents promising trainer and champion amateur, worth a check in the betting.
Close runner-up on debut over hurdles at Fairyhouse in October and agonisingly denied in Wexford bumper later the same month. Represents top trainer and sets standard on form for this reappearance.
Improved on second bumper start at Limerick in March to be modest third of six, needs more to land win here but gets rider bursting with confidence for company.
Showed enough in three bumpers last July over 2m to merit serious consideration on return to track, likely to be a leading player.
Well held in 2m3f bumper at Cork last month, needs a sizeable chunk of improvement to get involved at business end in this.
Decent effort when third in point-to-point at Inch last month, encouraging ahead of rules bow in this contest, though is facing some decent rivals.
Unable to get competitive when it mattered in 2m bumper at Naas in November and off the track since, needs a good deal more to have a say here.
Some promise shown in seven of these last year, hasn't run since September and her last effort at Gowran Park was a poor one. Improved for debut run a year ago.
Represents in-form trainer, didn't cut much ice in Gowran Park bumper in February but that was on heavy ground and a better effort isn't ruled out now. meeting a sounder surface.
Pulled up in a point-to-point almost a year ago, has since joined this trainer and appears to have modest credentials for this return to the track.
Forecasts
Change Your Story (4/1), Gleesons Tipp (4/1), Gabriel Archer (4/1), Billy's Angel (5/1), Mistheatre (9/1), High Five Oscar (10/1), Sudden Destination (12/1), Max Moonhead (14/1), Angelica Yeats (16/1), Winter Time (20/1), Cottonvale (20/1), Presenting Court (50/1), Mister Minor (50/1)
GLEESONS TIPP was well backed for a bumper at Wexford in October when last seen, having also gone close over hurdles on his previous outing. He could not have gone any closer without actually winning on that occasion and there may be compensation awaiting now on his return. Newcomer Gabriel Archer, with Jamie Codd booked, may head the dangers while Max Moonhead and High Five Oscar are others with some potential to get involved.
- Gleesons Tipp
- Gabriel Archer
- Max Moonhead
