Won over 5f at this course last season but form took a nosedive afterwards. Just 2lb higher this time but needs to be cherry ripe for her seasonal debut to cope with topweight.
Goes well at Bath and has gone well when fresh in the past. Slight suspicion that he needs at least a run to get the juices flowing so worth a check in the betting beforehand.
Place claims on the very pick of his form but he was a shade of better days last season and makes limited appeal despite his plummeting handicap mark. The rider's claim may help but will need to get away from the rail to make an impact.
Holding his form well but up 6lb for winning at Yarmouth last time out. Personal best now required but has a proven fitness edge and today's rider (was also in the plate at Yarmouth) takes a very handy 7lb off with his claim.
Long-standing maiden who's best form has been posted on the AW surfaces. However, he is potentially well treated but needs plenty of luck in running from a wide draw.
Lightly raced but she made very little impact when stepping into handicap company last term and may be best watched until she gives a hint of competitiveness.
Been a while since his C&D success but his recent form has been promising that a return to the winners' enclosure is a possibility. Well drawn and has the right man on board; one for the shortlist.
Very similar profile to his stablemate, Compton Prince, but not fared so well with the draw and possible that an extra furlong would see him in a better light. Still worth noting in the betting though.
Made a solid start to handicapping at Lingfield in January but two subsequent outings have been poor. Plenty to prove just now.
Yet to even make the frame on turf from 15 previous attempts and she needs to improve out of all recognition to figure from an unfavourable stall position.
Well treated in comparison to her AW rating but her record on turf is uninspiring and she has the worst of the draw to contend with, so not hard to oppose on this occasion.
Bred to appreciate further than this but has been campaigned ostensibly at sprint distances so far - without any success it has to be said. Hard to fancy.

Milton Bradley is a master tactician with his older horses and he appears to have found a reasonable opportunity for COMPTON PRINCE to rediscover the winning thread. He foes well at this track, handles the ground and, with Luke Morris on board, has every chance of exploiting a handy draw. Hurricane Alert is in good heart but needs to step things up a notch to follow up his recent win at Yarmouth; so it might be worth chancing a small investment in Staffa emerging as the best of the rest.
