Unplaced on all eight starts and has plenty to do at these weights. First-time tongue-tie unlikely to make enough difference for her to be a factor in a race such as this.
Running well without getting her head in front last season but she's a solid contender who will be suited by the forecast ground conditions. New yard may have found improvement but worth considering that her worst performance of last season came when returning from an absence.
A shade disappointing he's not shed the maiden tag by now after posting a solid effort behind Brittanic at Newcastle on his second start. Booking of this jockey could make the difference though and his third last time was a promising effort. Sets the standard on form.
Related to dirt winners in the USA but showed very little on debut at Wolverhampton. Better effort last time at Chelmsford when he probably set too strong a pace and should go well but no surprise if he wants further than this with time.
Lonhro colt, cost $60,000 as a foal and 82,000 gns as a yearling. Interesting pedigree and holds a Derby entry so should be respected but trainer has a low-strike rate at this course and his runners usually need their debut.
Well beaten on debut but cost $900,000 as a yearling. Shaped like he was in need of the run but interesting he was the subject of market support that day. Tongue-tie applied and will surely improve so plenty to like for a trainer in flying form.
Run well on each of his last two outings in maiden company. The most recent of those came when finishing fourth of six over 1m at Brighton in October though likely to find one or two too good here.
Yet to place in as many as eight starts and looks out of her depth in a race of this nature. Not impossible she could win in handicaps further down the line but not one for the shortlist in this contest.
Yeats filly whose dam was a related to some useful stayers and interesting that she holds a Derby entry. Market can guide on debut.
Forecasts
Leader's Legacy (11/8), Bahar (7/2), Carpe Diem Lady (5/1), Arnarson (5/1), Romanor (12/1), Corredordel Viento (14/1), Diore Lia (33/1), Crystal Secret (100/1), Back To Love (100/1)
ARNARSON sets a solid standard on form and he may not need to improve on his recent third if he's to take a hand here. Leader's Legacy was well beaten on debut but he looked like he'd come on for that run. He cost plenty as a yearling so there should be more to come and trainer and jockey must be respected, particularly in current form. Bahar put up a respectable performance last time when maybe going off a little too quick and he should go well for another trainer/jockey combination in flying form.
- Arnarson
- Leader's Legacy
- Bahar
