Largely been in good form of late, winning twice recently including over 1m4f at Kempton last time. Raised 2lb for that and likely to need a career best to win this. Versatile regarding trip, so this drop should not unduly inconvenience.
Steps into handicap company for the first time after three reasonable maiden runs. Put in a decent effort over C&D last month in one of those. Mark looks fair enough though would be good to see some support for him if thinking of a wager.
2lb higher than most recent success, in a Ffos Las 1m2f handicap in 2015. Has been competitive from higher marks than this for Henry Candy, though not much on offer from his two starts so far for new yard.
Same mark as when scoring at Pontefract last week (1m2f, good) and won from 3lb higher at Beverley last spring. First try on All Weather since his final Irish start a couple of years ago, but if acting here then he will take some beating.
Recorded back-to-back wins in 2015 over further than this and on turf, though unable to add to those. Well beaten on both starts for this yard at this venue and looks worth taking on again today.

Forecasts
Gulf Of Poets (4/9), Deep Challenger (3/1), What Usain (4/1), Bosphorus Prince (10/1), Lord Of The Storm (12/1), Instill (18/1), Perceived (50/1)
What Usain can again get involved, while Gulf Of Poets represents a stable going great guns and looks well handicapped after last week's win. However, DEEP CHALLENGER made a good impression when winning here last week, when the race was not really run to suit. He is back with a 6lb penalty, but as the least exposed in the field he should be capable of defying that. Those looking to chance something at longer odds could do worse than Lord Of The Storm, who is weighted to return to form.
