Has been hurdling of late and not raced on the Flat since 2015 and never run on this surface before. Looked very modest of late over hurdles and the hood and tongue tie combination are tried for the first time.
Certainly acts on this surface and won here last time out over 2m beating a small field but probably turning in a career best. Partnered by a promising claimer here and should again give his running.
Makes his handicap debut here on a new surface after showing some promise on his previous runs for this yard. Looks as though he'll relish a stronger gallop and an interesting player here despite not looking an easy ride.
Not shown much on the Flat of late and very lightly-raced in that sphere and makes his Fibresand debut here. Pulled-up over hurdles last time out and others preferred here.
Not the easiest horse to win with and generally needs the kid glove treatment to see him home. Gave a little more generously than usual when winning at Wolverhampton in February but ran modestly after that although was too highly tried last time out. Overall profile means he's one to have doubts about especially in a battle.
Didn't look to at home on his one previous try on this surface but has been in good form on AW of late at Wolverhampton and Kempton Park. Won over 2m last time out at the latter track but was seen to good effect (well placed in the race) and question marks back on this surface.
Record so far reads 0/17 and while this stable has a good record here this one looks unlikely to add to it base on his recent efforts. Makes his Fibresand debut here from 6lb out of the handicap.

VIRNON looks well suited by this surface and in a race that doesn’t look that deep he may well be able to follow-up his recent victory here. Sugarloaf Mountain is sure to pick up a handicap at some point but the surface is an unknown here as it is for Ascendant who looks to have found some form of late. Scrafton is another one to note but he can be a rather tricky ride and isn’t sure to find much in a battle.
