Came back to form last time out when winning at Huntingdon returning from a break. Stayed on well and worth a try over this slightly longer trip and has the scope to progress off a 4lb higher mark.

Pulled-up on her handicap debut at Uttoxeter on soft ground and may appreciate the better surface here. Mark still looks a stiff one though based on her novice/maiden hurdles form and there will be other with a better chance in this contest.

Form so far has been very modest (similar form on the Flat) and looked to have been flattered last time out when suited by the way the race developed. Makes her handicap debut here for a yard that can score in this sphere although the mark looks a little high on what she's achieved.

Has made little impact over hurdles so far but comes from a top-class yard and may well do better now sent handicapping for the first time. Opening mark looks stiff enough but the yard tells you that she could be better than she has shown so far.

Won here last April when taking a handicap hurdle on her second start in that sphere off a mark of 83. Been consistent since and won another handicap last time out at Plumpton (2m4f) on heavy going. Worthy of respect but she's on better ground here and off a career high mark and that tempers enthusiasm.

Form in novice hurdles wasn't much to write home about and was weak in the market on handicap debut although ran better than the market suggested with a very creditable third. Still unexposed in handicaps and of interest here given that initial run.

Showed some promise over hurdles in a maiden but has struggled since being switched to handicaps and pulled-up twice. Tried over fences last time out with the same result in cheekpieces and those are removed now in favour of first-time blinkers.

Inconsistent sort who has only won once at Huntingdon and ran another decent race there on her penultimate start. Ran poorly last time out though and that merely underlined her inconsistency.

Makes her handicap debut here but her form so far has looked modest and it would be a surprise if she could take a hand in this.

Won a Wincanton handicap off a 7lb lower mark in March and possibly the race coming too soon when attempting to follow up. Back from a break now and has a chance if reproducing the Wincanton form.

Has shown very little so far and returns from a long break here back in handicaps but has to run from 10lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Dites Rien (10/3), Snippetydoodah (5/1), Pretty Rose (5/1), Pattara (5/1), Goodnitesweetheart (13/2), Knightly Pleasure (7/1), Daytime Ahead (9/1), Tricky Issue (16/1), Lady Ash (18/1), Cottonwool Baby (20/1), Kaspian Tern (28/1), Choral Bee (100/1)

Verdict

Money for Goodnitesweetheart would be of interest given her yard and the fact that this is her handicap debut but off her mark this is a fairly stiff test. Pretty Rose and Knightly Pleasure look capable of winning at this level while it would be no surprise to see Daytime Ahead bounce back off a break. Overall though DITES RIEN looks to be capable of stepping up on her handicap debut when she ran into a useful sort at Market Rasen.
