Appreciates decent ground and this trip. 1lb lower than latest win, at Musselburgh in June. Lost his way after that, but has had a break and a recent pipe-opener and could be ready to strike again.
Won a C&D maiden in May (good to soft) and went close from this mark in his second handicap run at Beverley and later from 1lb higher at Thirsk. Returns fresh, as he was for that sole success, and has to enter calculations.
Won a maiden over this trip but two subsequent wins were over 1m, the best from a mark of 67 (good and good to firm). Well beaten from this mark when last seen, but is better than that, although perhaps best watched this time.
1-14 on turf on the Flat and 14lb higher than sole success at Ripon in May. Has since won from 8lb lower than today at Chelmsford and gone under by just a neck at Newcastle from today's pitch at Newcastle. If tranferring that back to grass then he is entitled to be thereabouts.
Enjoyed a good 2016, winning twice over 6f and being bridesmaid on three further occasions. Now exposed over that distance, though not over this one. Dam and other relatives stayed 1m, so every chance that he can see it out on only his second attempt.
Newcastle maiden winner in November and put in a couple of decent efforts in handicaps over today's trip at that venue on his last two starts. Can be competitive from same mark once again.
Just held in a Ripon maiden this time last year (1m, heavy) though thus far he has not fared so well in handicaps. 5lb drop since last run and also drops to the shortest trip he has raced over so far. Market check advised.
Won over 5½f, 6f and 7f when with Mick Channon, the best of those being from 4lb higher than today. Comfortably held on both starts for this yard, though should not be too long in winning again.
Sole handicapping success was at Carlisle last summer and goes from the same mark here, having been well beaten in three out of four starts since. Unlikely to be going off at 25/1 as he did last time and looks capable of having a say again.
9lb higher than when scoring over this trip at Ayr last year but has been competitive from 1lb below today and is therefore entitled to respect. Went well fresh on debut, so break may not inconvenience her.
Twice a winner over 7f at Newcastle in the autumn and 3lb higher than the latter. Decent return run from today's pitch and entitled to be competitive.
6f Thirsk handicap winner in August and has improved in a string of placed efforts since then. Up 3lb for the latest of those but remains unexposed, especially at this trip and looks a leading player.
In-form, having won at Wolverhampton last time out. Now 4lb higher but has won from 4lb higher than this on turf a couple of years ago and another who should be thereabouts.
