€15,000 breeze-up but last year and out of a half-sister to Group Two Lowther winner Infamous Angel. Made a pleasing debut at Newcastle over 7f last month and can improve for that.
220,000 GNS two-year-old. Held on a couple of occasions over 6f last season in similar contests, though those races have produced several winners. Knows more about the game now and could be ready to begin to recoup some of that outlay.
Improved from first run to second when brought out twice in fairly quick succession in October in fillies' maidens. Second of those saw her come home well over 7f, so this stiff 6f looks a good starting point and she looks likely to come on again.
12,500 GNS yearling and half-sister to 1m-extended 1m1f winner Heavens Eyes. Dam is an unraced half-sister to Group One winners Sleepytime (1,000 Guineas), Ali-Royal (Sussex Stakes) ad Taipan. Pedigree suggests that further will suit and yard not noted for its debut winners.
Three reasonable effort in maidens last year and assessor rates her 63 on the back of those. Interesting that connections keep her to one of these rather than going straight for a handicap, so possibly more to come and a market check is advised.
Was keen and green on recent Newcastle debut, when she wanted to get on with it more quickly than some over 1m. Drop in trip looks more suitable here and can't be ruled out given improvement for that initial experience.
Went handicapping a couple of times last year and was unable to break her duck and not sure of she will prove good enough to do that back in a maiden here either. Looks best watched until back in handicaps off a lower mark.
Cost just £3,000 as a yearling and bred for speed, being related to several winners over sprint trips. This is a natural starting point then. Yard not really got off to a flyer on turf, but market check nonetheless advised.
Runner-up at Ripon on debut in August but didn't really come on for that in two further outings. Possible that 7f trip on All Weather and then cut in the ground here did not suit, so back on a sound surface over this trip she could have a say again.
Made a nice debut at Newcastle considering she was plenty keen enough and is a half-sister to a winner at this trip, as well as one over further, so presumably has been showing speed. Yard has been among the winners lately and this one should go well.

Always Thankful (11/10), Chicago Star (5/1), Sugar Beach (8/1), Mabs Cross (8/1), England Expects (9/1), Acadian Angel (10/1), Incentive (16/1), Majorette (16/1), Doria Road (25/1), Suited (25/1), Decima (50/1)
Ismail Mohammed's only three-year-old runner on turf so far ran well and ALWAYS THANKFUL looks capable of winning this first time back. The form of her two runs last year worked out well and she gets the vote. Sugar Beach had excuses after running well on debut and now that she returns to a sound surface we could see more, while Acadian Angel and Chicago Star are others to add to short-lists.
- Always Thankful
- Sugar Beach
- Acadian Angel
