Has shown some useful on turf but makes his AW/Fibresand debut here after a long absence from the racecourse. Has run and won off a similar break before so has to be if interest if taking to the surface.

Form on the AW since the turn of the year has been very consistent and he's 3/6 over this trip. Got back to winning form over C&D last time out under today's promising claimer and looks primed to go well of just a 2lb higher mark.

Most if her runs have come on AW surfaces and her one win came over this course (1m3f) which showed she could handle this surface. That win came in a maiden and although she was beaten off a 4lb higher mark in a handicap last time out at Wolverhampton a return to this surface could well see her show much better.

Proved consistent on the AW (placed four times) and attracted support on his Fibresand debut last time out over this trip. That run came after a break and he left the impression that he would be better for the run and could well build on that run off the same mark.

Still a maiden after plenty of attempts but the stable have had some success at the track and she has been placed three times here. For all her consistency she has looked a hard ride at times though and faces some more progressive rivals in this.

Forecasts

Ominotago (6/5), Eurato (11/4), Denmead (9/2), Go On Gal (7/1), Sisyphus (16/1)

Verdict

You could probably give a chance to the entire quintet in what is a very tight little heat. Go On Gal and Sisyphus probably have the most to find and it’s among the other trio that the winner may well be lurking. Both Demmead and Eurato look more than capable of winning a race like this but with the return to the Fibresand expected to suit the nod is given to the filly OMINOTAGO.
  1. Ominotago
  2. Denmead
  3. Eurato
