Has been highly tried in a few runs for this yard and drops in grade here on what are very favourable weight terms. Best when able to get an easy lead and if that happens here could well dominate this contest.

El Campeon20

Fairly useful AW horse (five wins) and has shown some consistent form in handicaps of late. Can take a strong hold though and prove hard to settle on occasions and has a tough ask at the weights in this.

Luv U Whatever22
Age: 7|  Weight: 9-6| J: William Carson| T: M J Attwater| OR:  83
9/4
Very capable AW performer although most of his best form has come on the Fibresand and he's 0/4 at this track. Won a weak seller at Southwell last time out and this will prove to be a much tougher test.

Did win on the Flat in France (soft ground) on her second start and has been running over hurdles of late. Returns to the Flat here after being a well beaten favourite last time out over hurdles proving very hard to settle and surprising not to see any headgear used in an attempt to eradicate that problem.

Comes here having won his last two races on the AW both in handicap company the latter in easy fashion over further here last time out. Despite being in good form he still faces a tough task at these weights as he bids for his hat-trick.

Forecasts

Our Channel (6/4), Luv U Whatever (9/4), El Campeon (10/3), Soiesauvage (8/1), Oratorio's Joy (12/1), King Olav (16/1)

Verdict

This isn’t a bad claimer with a few that are probably better than this grade although OUR CHANNEL is well in at the weights here and could well dominate this from the front. Luv U Whatever is also capable in this grade although he would be more at home on the Fibresand and with the surface more likely to suit El Campeon and Oratorio’s Joy they are the duo to chosen to chase home Our Channel.
