Winner of a couple of turf sprints in 2016 of marks of 53 and 57. Has gone well on last two starts when fitted with a visor but they are now swapped for cheekpieces. Well drawn here if connections decide to let her go from the front.
Never threatened last time on return from a break. Won an amateurs race at Windsor last October and races off the same mark here. Form around here is not that convincing and others are preferred.
With fourth trainer in the last six months. Winner over C&D for Mick Appleby and has now moved to current yard. Ran well on debut for them at Kempton. Will get the strong pace he needs and is one for the shortlist.
C&D winner who has been campaigned almost exclusively at Southwell in recent months. Losing sequence has grown to 27 races. Stable are in better shape now but he remains hard to recommend.
25-race maiden gets into this on a career low mark. Has had two runs back from a layoff and there were positive signs last time. Attracted support over C&D almost a year ago when producing one of his best efforts. One to note in the market.
A career profile of two wins in 45 starts does not present a strong case that a follow up is on the cards. Both victories have been under today's rider and over this C&D. The yards horses are going well and he remains well treated on his best form.
Won a C&D seller for Gordon Elliot in February 2016 and has drawn a blank for different trainers since. Makes debut for new yard and best watched for now.
Has been unplaced on all starts and a hood failed to inspire last time. Drops in distance here and hard to envisage she will be a threat.
Third in a poor race at Brighton last year and showed litte thereafter. Appears to have improved judged on latest effort in first time cheekpieces. Has been gelded during the winter and has an obvious chance in a weak race. Stable are just 2-46 at this venue.
Maiden after 10 outings but ran well when fourth here last time out. Has been front running of late and will battle the topweight to do so again. Has something to find with Blastofmagic on running here last time.
Forecasts
Pick Of Any (9/4), Tasaaboq (5/2), Blastofmagic (7/1), David's Beauty (10/1), Little Belter (12/1), Vocalisation (12/1), Frangarry (12/1), Spowarticus (16/1), National Service (25/1), Jessie Allan (25/1)
There are few of these that can be trusted to pin one's hopes on. Tasaaboq did manage to win last time and is on attractive mark but he looks an unlikely type to produce a similar effort again. PICK OF ANY has been running well of late and could be another for a stable that are going well. There are two potential front runners in this who could set the strong pace he needs.. The danger is Blastofmagic who went well on his first run back from an absence. His stable do not have a good record here and there is no guarantee that the cheekpieces that worked last time will have the same effect.
