Winner of a seller last year at Goodwood and yet to win on the AW but far better than his placing last time out at Wolverhampton. Failed to get a clear run when going well and clearly capable of winning something like this off this mark.
Still a maiden who is 0/2 over C&D and blew her chance back in maiden company last time out with a very slow start. Overall record is very indifferent and others are preferred.
Has another go in a handicap after breaking his maiden last time out on the Fibresand at Southwell, although he acts on other AW surfaces. Runs off the same mark as in his first handicap and looks a little more straightforward now in a race that won't take a lot of winning.
Has shown only modest form so far in three AW maidens and now goes handicapping off a mark that she should be competitive off. Certainly showed ability on her debut and it would not be a surprise to see her improve in this sphere.
Big-priced winner on handicap debut in January coming back off an absence although she did enjoy the run of the race. Has run twice since off higher marks with 6f looking too far on one occasion and she was unable to dominate last time out over C&D; may get an easier time up front this time around though.
Five runs so far on the AW and raced over much further than this in the past. Now runs at 5f for the first time and can race very freely and start slowly which diminishes his chance.
Losing run is starting to stack up and now stands at 11 and this trip has looked on the short side before. Form overall looks weak even in this grade.
Ran her best race on her penultimate start over 5f at Wolverhampton off a low mark but failed to follow that up over the same C&D last time out. Form overall looks fairly moderate.

This isn’t a particularly strong handicap and the obvious selection is Gnaad who is starting to look more straightforward and easy to handle now. He can still be a little awkward at the start though and there are others that appeal more at the prices. Popsilca could well get a soft lead and in that case she would be of interest. BILLY’S BOOTS has yet to win on the AW but ran a race that was full of promise last time out (despite the final placing) and with some more luck in-running he could well open his AW account.
