Yet to win on the AW (0/25) and last few appearances on artificial surfaces having been disappointing in the context of her turf form. Comes back from a break now and mark has fallen but overall record is off putting.
Has been way out of form of late mostly on the Fibresand at Southwell but has fallen in the weights and took advantage of that fall when running well at Chelmsford. Originally took the runner-up slot but was awarded the race on a technicality. Up 2lb now and should again run well in this grade.
Has won around this course but the losing run is starting to stack up now (last win in 2015 over 7f here). Has been consistent of late but does look hard to win with.
Capable sort who possibly has not been seen to best effect of late and the drop to 5f last time out didn't suit at all. Two previous run over 6f had shown that he can still win in this grade and his mark of 50 looks a handy one in light of his previous form at this trip.
Certainly not at his best of late and way off the form that he showed when winning over this trip here and at Wolverhampton in 2016. On his recent runs, very difficult to be interested in.
Very lightly-raced sort who makes his handicap debut after three maiden runs from a jumps-orientated yard. Finished well held last time out over a mile at Wolverhampton and returns to sprinting.
Has shown very little in a trio of sprint maidens on the turf and AW. Would need to make a major step forward to be of interest even off this low mark.
Forecasts
Major Muscari (11/4), Termsnconditions (4/1), Culloden (4/1), Refuse Colette (5/1), Great Expectations (6/1), Sir Harry Collins (7/1), Diamond Vine (16/1)
A fairly low grade affair and although Culloden was a fortunate winner last time out he should still be able to get involved again here. With Major Muscari and Diamond Vine looking hard to win with on their current form it may well be best to give GREAT EXPECTATIONS a chance back over a trip he should be far more comfortable over.
- Great Expectations
- Culloden
- Major Muscari
