Little promise to be obtained from either of his first two starts in September 2016, beating just a sole rival home in those two races combined (both 7F), but better when sixth at odds of 66/1 behind Parfait at Newbury (6½F) in late October. Joint top rated (70) in a race which isn't overly strong on AW debut.
A filly with plenty of experience (six race maiden on turf) but already a dual AW scorer with Class 6 handicap victories over this trip on Tapeta at Wolverhampton and on Polytrack at Lingfield. A shade to find from level weights in this classified stakes (rated 67), but this is far from a strong contest so can't be ruled out in the visor with previous surface form.
Off the mark at the third attempt at Lingfield (7F maiden) on New Years Eve and went down most latterly to the Mark Johnston trained Boater over that same C&D earlier this month. Not seen at her best in three races over 1m (including twice at this track when far less experienced), with this trip of 7F seeming to suit her much better.
Made it third time lucky on synthetics when a decisive 2¾L scorer of a 6F Fibresand handicap at Southwell last month, but held from higher marks in two races since. Lost a shoe when fourth to previous winner Intense Romance here earlier this month, but steps up in trip to 7F for the first time in a eight race career, which is far from certain to suit.
Forecasts
Alemaratalyoum (4/5), Tranquil Daze (5/2), Mia Cara (6/1), Touch Me (10/1)
A trappy looking opener despite the disappointingly small field with just 3lb separating the four runners on official ratings. Both Mia Cara and Tranquil Daze have done their winning from lower marks (low 60's), with the latter named also having some questions to answer over this longer trip. Seven furlongs appears to suit Touch Me, but she has shown her best form so far at Lingfield Park, so the vote goes to the least exposed runner ALEMARATALYOUM who probably only needs to show marginal improvement to take this race on his AW debut.
