Ran some sound races in nurseries last year on turf and makes her fibresand debut now after a break. Looked unlucky (had to wait for a run) on her last start off a 2lb lower mark.

Ran an eye-catching race on handicap debut at Lingfield when sixth (raced wide and short of room late on). Has run once before on this surface (finished fourth in a maiden) and looks the sort with potential over this trip.

Showed little and failed to improve on his starts in maidens last time out on handicap debut over a mile at Lingfield. Makes his first start on Fibresand.

Has had plenty of chances in handicaps (run in five so far) but showed improved form off this mark last time over C&D. Ran well for much of the race and only just touched off close home finishing third. Is quite speedily bred and may well be better at shorter for all that she should go well in this contest.

Well held in three nurseries off higher marks than she runs off today. Makes her Fibresand debut and other are preferred.

Yard do well here but this one has had one previous run here which was disappointing although that's not surprising being as she is by Bushranger (has a poor record on this surface as a sire). Well held last time out at Newcastle over 1m2f in a first-time visor.

Showed a little more last time out but remains a maiden after six starts and looks a rather temperamental sort. Hard to recommend on previous form.

Poor maiden who has been well beaten in handicaps on her last two starts off basement marks.

Ran a decent enough race on her only start on this surface when third over C&D off a 5lb higher mark. Below form last time out at Newcastle but a repetition of her previous run here would give her a place chance.

Shown nothing in her last three starts here starting at big prices every time and would be a shock winner of this.

Well held in three maidens (all on the AW) and makes his first start in a handicap with blinkers going on for the first time. Comes from a top yard who don't have many rated this low (45) and may well do better in handicaps on his first try on Fibresand.

Forecasts

Topmeup (9/4), State Residence (7/2), Bonnie Arlene (13/2), Panther In Pink (10/1), Greyjoy (11/1), River Warrior (14/1), Chamasay (16/1), Flawed Diamond (16/1), Rockalater (16/1), Our Lois (20/1), Red Shanghai (66/1)

Verdict

A fairly low grade affair to end the card and plenty will want to side with Topmeup who showed improved form here last time out although the trip could just stretch her against some stronger stayers. Panther In The Pink can be given a place chance on her one run here while River Warrior for a top yard in blinkers off a basement mark is hard to ignore on handicap debut even though this is his first run on the surface. STATE RESIDENCE looked as though he was rather unlucky on his handicap debut last time out with more to offer and his maiden run on Fibresand showed that he could handle this demanding surface.
  1. State Residence
  2. Topmeup
  3. River Warrior
