On an 18 race losing streak and AW form is nowhere the level achieved on turf. Having second start for new trainer and handicap mark is starting to look attractive. One to note, if and when, the market speaks in his favour.
Out to recover losses after blowing the start last time. Should be capable of defying this mark based on his latest victory if jumping off on terms.
Winner of three races for Ed McMahon last season. Showed little for new yard subsequently and returns from a break of over five months. Has dropped below his last winning mark but record on this surface is poor.
Handicapper is reluctant to relax his grip. Last three runs under both codes have been woeful. Has issues at the stalls and that makes him even harder to recommend.
Last two wins have come over a mile. Has finished last on all three starts for new trainer. Cheekpieces are refitted and they will have to make a dramatic difference.
Without a win since May 2015. Has threatened to win one soon and has claims now back to a more suitable trip.
Looked in need of respite from the handicapper until turning in a good performance last time. Hit with a further 2lb rise in the weights and needs to find further improvement.
Can take a good hold and best effort has come over 6f. Noted running on past beaten horses behind easy winner last week. On a feasible mark and one worth a check in the market.
His third to Athassel in January looks good now. Soundly beaten since and stable struggling for winners. Others would appear more likely.
Well beaten on both starts for new trainer which have come off a break. Still a maiden after 14 starts but has been placed on seven occasions. More proof needed that the ability is still there.
Made all to win by 11L for Clive Cox in 2015. Has drawn a blank since but signs were more encouraging last time. Has been dropped in behind at the start of recent races in an attempt to get him to settle. Seems to have found his level and could be winning soon.
Sprang a 50/1 surprise to beat Athassel (four time winner since) over a mile here in January. No fluke about the victory which coincided with a change of tactics and a first time visor. Has 6lb more to carry in her bid to follow up and that makes the task more difficult.

Forecasts
Bounty Pursuit (7/4), Tidal's Baby (5/2), Freddy With A Y (4/1), Magic Mirror (7/1), Quintus Cerialis (7/1), Star Of The Stage (10/1), Qortaaj (12/1), Hipz (14/1), Keene's Pointe (16/1), Caledonian Gold (20/1), Mime Dance (25/1), Captain Joe (25/1), Royal Rettie (66/1), Secret Look (66/1)
A few of these carry doubts of one sort or another. The most straightforward option is TIDAL"S BABY who has posted two solid efforts over 6f. His last victory came almost four years ago but, having now returned to that winning trainer, he looks ready to resume winning ways. Quintus Cerialis has recently shown positive signs of retaining some of the ability that saw him romp home by a wide margin two seasons ago. He rates as a danger as does Mick Appleby's dual winner Bounty Pursuit if jumping off on terms.
