His third in a slowly run race last week does not prove whether or not he gets this trip. Switches to a new surface and pedigree suggests that should not be an issue. Stable in form and worth a check in the market.
Has won here seven times. Likes to dictate matters and there are a couple in here who could take him on. Three of his last four wins have come with today's rider on board from around this mark.
Failed to reach a place in 2016. Yet to race on this surface but sire gets winners here. Eye-shield now employed as mark continues to drop. Still takes an optimistic view to build a case.
Two worst recent efforts have come here. This will be the first time though in current headgear configuration. Ran last week as though needing further than this test will provide.
Has one win in 13 starts and has finished last on his two most recent starts when beaten an aggregate of 66L. Mark continues to drop but with good reason.
Down the field at big prices recently. Switch to the Fibresand needs to unleash dramatic improvement.
Ran two good races from the front for this yard before stepped up in trip. Has come down the weights and is back to optimum trip. Only run on this surface was inconclusive but sire's horses do go well here. Rider has a good strike rate for the trainer.

GLORIOUS ASSET appeals from the foot of the handicap. Recent efforts over further have encouraged the handicapper to drop him in the weights. With the rider booking suggesting a big run is anticipated he rates the selection ahead of Jubilee Brig. The topweight is yet to prove he gets a mile but recent efforts suggest it is worth a try. His lack of finishing pace dictates he needs the stronger gallop he will get here compared to last week. Course specialist Royal Holiday can give another honest account and book a place.
