Winner of a Thirsk maiden (5f) on debut for Richard Fahey, but struggled to add to that in handicaps from marks in the 70s thereafter. Switch to current yard did not yield immediate gains at Lingfield last month but on a good mark if fitting of first-time tongue strap and cheek pieces have positive effects.
Veteran of 122 career starts and still capable of winning races, as he proved when taking a C&D handicap in October from 2lb lower. Beaten from higher marks since and likely that this mark is stretching his current abilities a bit too far.
Scored here from 10lb lower in December and added another success at Kempton two starts ago, that time from 5lb below today's pitch. Burst blood vessel at Wolverhampton last time and that has to be a concern given that he is likely to need maximum effort to be winning this.
Broke a lengthy losing run over C&D last month from 7lb lower and went close to following up from 1lb lower at Lingfield last time. Clearly back in good form but although he has won from a few pounds higher on three occasions, they were a few years ago and he looks fully exposed on more recent form.
Maiden who was never on terms on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f) last time. Headgear dispensed with this time and a 3lb drop will help, but will probably need a bit more assistance from the handicapper before winning.
Last win came over C&D in September 2015 from 9lb higher, so entitled to claims on that basis alone. Tends to run well when turning up here and it would be no surprise if she came up trumps from her lowest ever handicap mark.
Can take a keen grip and so this marked drop in trip from last time she ran here may be no bad thing. Has dropped to a workable mark, but would have liked to have seen a bit of something from her to be able to recommend. Hard to fancy on the bare bones of her CV.
Two of his three career wins have been here, including over 5f two starts ago from just 1lb lower. Went close over C&D from 2lb lower last time and should again be thereabouts.
Grand veteran who is not the force of old, though was still good enough to win from a 7lb handicap 14 months ago and went close from today's mark two starts ago over C&D. Good draw here and not ruled out in visor that he gets on well with.
0-13, though ran with a little credit a couple of starts ago at Wolverhampton from 2lb higher. Appears at this venue for the first time with plenty still to prove.

A moderate end to the evening. Jeanie's Place could go well from top weight if the appliances prove beneficial, while a win for Penny Dreadful from this career low mark would not be a huge surprise. Old man Nasri can still make an impact, though the suggestion for the nightcap is MIGHTY ZIP, who loves it here and if he can maintain recent consistency it may well be good enough.
