Verdict

COSMIC RAY hinted at a return to form last time and this course and distance winner may find a new lease of life for this yard. Shifting Star's best days are behind him but he's dropped to a mark that he may be able to get competitive off, especially with a useful jockey's 7lb claim coming off. A 9lb rise seems harsh for Zabdi's recent win but he may be able to build on that effort.
