BACCALAUREATE looks the straightforward answer to a race in which most come here short of a run or in need of dramatic improvement. He showed a liking for this stiff track last time when coming from off the pace to score under today's rider and a repeat is expected. Blackfire and Lovely Bubbly appeal as sorts who are capable of better than we have seen recently and are capable of bold shows if back to their best.
