Won over C&D three starts ago off a 4lb lower mark but not in the same form since then, finishing last on his next two starts.
Six-time AW winner with all the victories coming on Polytrack and won here in January over C&D off a mark of 65. Beaten off higher marks since in a couple of runs here over 1m5f and may appreciate the return to 1m4f.
Won her maiden here over 1m2f and has won on turf over this trip. Shown very little in her last four starts though all on the AW off a sliding mark and more needed.
Course winner over 1m2f in selling company last time out when with Mark Johnston but subsequently sold to his current yard. Just a question if the cheekpieces work as well this time although he is back in grade.
Goes well on Polytrack having won at Chelmsford over 1m2f in December and turned in a career best last time out over the same trip here. Tries a longer trip now but had a bit in hand last time out and has a good chance of being in the mix again.
Been rated much higher than this in the past but yet to perform at his best here. Ended a long losing run at Newcastle in December and has run respectably in two runs since without having the pace that he needs to run at in those races although this trip looks as though it will test his stamina.
Returns here after a fair absence and well held on his last two starts. Not the most straightforward although his mark is in freefall.
Has won on the AW but nothing like the horse he was (rated mid-80's in the past) and failed to build on what looked to be a promising effort at Chelmsford last time out.
Forecasts
Synodic (7/4), Attain (15/8), Leonard Thomas (7/1), Juste Pour Nous (8/1), Karam Albaari (10/1), Genuine Approval (16/1), Party Royal (25/1), Art History (66/1)
A low-grade finale over 1m4f sees Attain set a good standard over a trip that he should be more at home over. Juste Pour Nous only won a seller last time out but if the cheekpieces continue to he could take a hand here along with Leonard Thomas although there must be stamina doubts about that one. SYNODIC is the one in form though having won twice in his last four runs, both on the Polytrack and he scored with a little in hand which should help with the 5lb rise he faces today.
- Synodic
- Juste Pour Nous
- Attain
