Five-time course winner with four of those wins coming over C&D (yet to finish out of the frame over a mile here). Has won his last three starts over C&D and looks a progressive type after overcoming a pace bias last time out. Gets a further 5lb rise for that win but hard to rule out given his improvement.
Consistent sort in handicaps and off the mark on the AW last time out when winning a small field Conditions Stakes at Wolverhampton. Had the run of the race on that occasion and may not find it as easy to lead back in a decent handicap.
A regular at this course and has won over C&D on three occasions. Won on his penultimate start here in January (Conditions event) and not beaten that far by My Target last time out over C&D. Dropped 1lb for that run and better off at the weights with that rival here.
Won on his first three attempts over C&D and has won here four times overall from seven starts. Unsuited by the dirt surface at Meydan the last twice and given his record here better can be expected back on the Polytrack.
Lightly raced sort of late and showed very little in three starts last year. Tried in headgear the last two races (left off here) and this looks a tough ask off the back of those runs.
Comes from a stable going well at the moment and looks on the upgrade based on his last three runs here over C&D. Up in grade this time around as he bids for a hat-trick and that will make life more difficult off a career high mark.
Lightly-raced on the AW (just four tries) and ran a sound race last time out over 1m2f at Chelmsford. Up in grade and back in trip here although the mark doesn't look beyond him despite the 4lb rise.
An AW stalwart who has won 15 times on such surfaces and won well last time out at Chelmsford over a mile. Has been hit with an 8lb rise for that win and now takes a rise in class which makes life harder.
Not run since he was a two-year-old and makes his debut for a new yard who also have the likely market leader in this.
Four-time winner over C&D but never run in this grade before and well beaten last time out over C&D.

A competitive handicap that sees My Target aiming for another win over C&D but the mark is creeping up and he faces some capable sorts in this contest. Chevallier is another who is progressing rapidly and he bids for a hat-trick over a C&D that he enjoys. Third Time Lucky is a sound yardstick in this grade and a switch to more positive tactics look to have suited of late. Alfred Hutchinson tends to always run a sound race here but the vote goes to another improver in BUNBURY. He’s lightly-raced on the AW and takes a rise in grade but looks to have a race in him off this mark.
