Won a Towcester novices' hurdle (good to soft) almost three years ago, though has clearly had his problems since then, having not raced between April 2014 and December 2016. Shown nothing in two starts for new yard to recommend him here, though is way below the handicapper's assessment of him in 2014.

Maiden point-to-point winner in November who has not shown a great deal in two recent outings back under rules. Dropped in class now and visored for the first time, so could make an impact.

All three hurdles wins have been in sellers, the most recent in a similar race to this at Fakenham (good to soft). Raised 6lb for that, but has backed up a win before and has claims of doing so again.

Been busy doing nothing in December and January, during which he ran eight times and was well beaten on all occasions. Has dropped 15lb as a result and as one who has won four hurdles previously, a market check is advised for any signs of a revival.

Sole success was in a Polytrack handicap at Lingfield (2m) in first-time blinkers way back in 2014. Was off the track for over two years before being brought back in January, though has shown nothing in two Flat runs and one over hurdles. Looks best watched even in this sphere.

Last win was in a Catterick handicap hurdle in January 2014 (soft) from a mark of 95, though went close at Uttoxeter last spring. Dropped 2lb since last run and now trying this grade he is not ruled out in first-time headgear.

Wide margin Uttoxeter handicap winner almost two years ago (soft) from a mark of 97 and not beaten far off 106 last year at Leicester (heavy). Ran well when dropped to this grade last time at Fakenham and should be in the mix again from 2lb higher.

Dual Flat winner over 1m2f, (good to firm and heavy), though yet to make the frame in three hurdles. Dropped into a seller for his handicap debut and has a workable mark.

Inconsistent performer with a 1-16 record over hurdles. Tends to find one too good even when putting his best foot forward, having been runner-up four times, including last month at Wetherby. May appreciate both this drop in grade and trip once again and not ruled out.

Won twice last spring in cheek pieces and tends to do better on good to soft or good ground. Runner-up from this mark at Sedgefield a couple of starts ago and probably unsuited by conditions last time, which is again a concern. New headgear tried for first time.

Shown nothing at all in novices' hurdles and must have been tough for the assessor to give a mark to. Not sure if he has him right and today is likely to give us more of a clue. Best watched.

Ran up a hat-trick over fences in early 2015 before spending over a year off the track. Shown little in five starts for current yard and hard to get excited about his chance even now dropped in grade.

Shown nothing in four previous sporadic hurdles outings and also very moderate on the Flat. Impossible to recommend at present even in this basement grade.

Maiden on both the Flat and over hurdles and shown nothing for current yard in either sphere. Drop in grade will help and connections now opt for headgear, though it needs to work well to give her any chance.
