Scored here over 2m4f in April (soft) from just 5lb below today's mark and although he won a point-to-point on good to soft, he has largely been raced on soft or heavy ground. Whether today's conditions will be ideal remains to be seen and has different headgear on this time as he tries to put two poor runs behind him.
Won a Carlisle handicap chase off 127 in May 2015 (3m2f, good) but has been in steady decline since then. Now almost a stone below that last win and with headgear left off, he would be very interesting if the market speaks for him at a track that connections have farmed over the past couple of decades.
Enjoyed a good spring last year with wins at Sedgefield (2m4f, good to soft) and Kelso (3m, good to soft) in the space of three starts, the latter from just 1lb lower than today. Put up his most promising effort since then when fourth over C&D last time and should be entering calculations.
6lb lower than a good ground Bangor win over this trip last May and with stable going well he could leave some indifferent recent efforts well behind him this afternoon. Has won on good to soft, though seems best on a sound or fast surface.
Goes into this from 3lb lower than when winning on bottomless ground over a similar trip at Newcastle a couple of years ago. Ran well from this mark when runner-up over C&D last month and with stable going well there should be another decent effort in him.
Well placed to win two and be placed in three of his six chases, while he also won multiple point-to-point on ground described as good to soft. Not seen since a good ground Hexham win off today's mark in May 2015 but clearly capable of going well when fresh and represents a yard that has been red hot of late, so check out the market for clues.
4lb higher than when scoring a Sedgefield on Boxing Day (2m4f, good to soft) and looks to be in the grip of the handicapper at present if his last two runs are taken at face value.
Point-to-point winner who scored in an Ayr maiden hurdle (2m5f, soft) last March. Trip was way too short on debut over fences at Newcastle last time and this is much more like it from 5lb lower.
Pulled up here in November from same mark as today, which is 4lb higher than when taking a handicap hurdle at Catterick (3m1f, soft) two years ago. A bit to prove at present and would ideally prefer plenty of cut.
Has slipped to a dangerous looking mark given that three of his four wins have come from higher than this 106. Can jump left, which is not a big problem around here and while recent efforts not encouraging, a return to form is not ruled out.
Sole win came here last year in a novices' handicap chase over 2m6f (soft) from a mark of 86. Has run some decent races in defeat since then and although up 5lb for defeat at Carlisle last time, first time headgear may help her overcome that and she could go very well for her top pilot.

Another tricky race to call and a chance is taken that SCARLET FIRE might be ready to strike first time back after a lengthy absence, coming from a yard in top form. Fill The Power and Swing Hard are both weighted as if a return to form would not surprise, while Oscar O'scar shaped last time as though his next win would not be far way. Suzy's Music merits a market check in first-time headgear.
