Won in good style at Wolverhampton last week and carries a 6lb penalty for that win. Should continue to progress and he's proved he's got the speed for this trip having placed over the minimum trip on his penultimate start. Leading claims.

Dual winner at the track and usually sets a good pace up front often doing too much too soon, as seen on his last run. This looks tougher than what he has faced of late and more needed to win even off a falling mark.

Been doing better of late and second behind a well-handicapped rival last time. However, doesn't seem as effective around here and wide draw not ideal.

On a nine-race losing run who has finally come back down to his last winning mark. However, his record around here is poor (placed once in seven starts) and he's finished closer to last than first on his last three runs, all at this course.

Won three starts back at Kempton when having the run of the race on the front end. Unlikely to get that sort of privilege this time around and probably a little high in the handicap for now.

Fine effort here two starts back when finishing second of 14 over the minimum trip but not quite in the same form at Wolverhampton last time. Return of this jockey in the saddle is a bonus as he is worth his 7lb and has won off higher marks than this. Interesting runner.

Difficult to win with and has been a disappointing favourite on several occasions but there's no doubt he can be effective around here. Draw makes like tough though and will need to be fast out of the gate to avoid being trapped on the inside rail.

Still a maiden after 22 starts but best effort did come around here before Christmas. Struggling to compete off this kind of mark though and finishing position is flattering from last time (runner-up beaten six lengths).

Becoming very expensive to follow and overall record stands at zero from 15 outings. Refused to race last time and is often slow when he decides he does want to race so not one to have a lot of faith in.

Modest handicapper with just one AW win to her name from 11 starts. Not shown much of late but return to 6f is a bonus. Unplaced on previous two tries here.

Front-runner whose second behind Fortinbrass over C&D looks like a handy piece of form. Yard not been in much form generally though and while he's well-handicapped, consistency wouldn't be his forte.

Best effort came on tapeta at Newcastle four starts back but appears to be a rather inconsistent type and didn't show much on his previous fibresand start. The booking of a jockey who rides this course particularly well catches the eye though.

Verdict

BOUNTY PURSUIT was impressive last time and appeared to be the only one on the front end who could cope with the strong gallop that was set. Should be effective around here and back down in trip so there's no obvious reason he won't go well again. Very First Blade has the 7lb claim of Aled Bleech and he's proven on the surface so he should be able to bounce back from a disappointing effort last time. Cadeaux Pearl is well-handicapped on old form and he's capable of running well despite his consistency letting him down. 1. Bounty Pursuit 2. Very First Blade 3. Cadeaux Pearl
