C&D winner who hasn't won in his last 15 starts but returns to his favoured Polytrack today and is lower in the weights than at the time of that most recent win.

0/17 and has shown little on two starts over a mile or further. Has shown improvement on his last few starts though and he cannot be ruled out.

Didn't run badly on recent return from a 22 month break and could go close if coming on for that run, especially given both his previous wins have come on this surface, including one at a higher level than this.

1/25 so far, with that sole win coming at Chelmsford in November 2015. Last two starts have been more promising than most of his recent form, however, and has definite place claims.

Narrow winner here last time out over a furlong shorter. This is a step up in class, though the extra distance should help and looks to be a big player with this top jockey in the saddle for the first time.

First run for a new trainer after a fair break having lost his way for his previous yard with a series of poor performances. Mark is much lower than one he has proven competitive off in the past, however, and he could go close if the change of scenery has had an impact.

Didn't run well on recent return from a 19 month break, and much more will be needed in a competitive looking field. Down only 2lb for that return, though the step up in trip could help.

Inconsistent sort who has been disappointing for much of this winter following a win at Bath in July. Plenty to find against some much more in-form rivals.

1/26 and none of her best form has come over this trip. Went fairly well over 6f at Lingfield last time, but that was an easier race than this and she is liable to struggle in this company.

Sole win came in June 2014 and has largely been struggling since then. Nothing to suggest that this step up in trip will help, though the first time hood might.

Only win so far came in March 2015 and been going the wrong way recently. Didn't place in nine attempts in 2016 including some easier races than this, and would seem to have little chance here.

Forecasts

Spirit Of Gondree (9/4), Zabdi (4/1), Little Indian (4/1), Dukes Meadow (11/2), Ixelles Diamond (8/1), Monsieur Royale (10/1), No No Cardinal (16/1), Nidnod (25/1), Patron of Explores (33/1), Les Darcy (50/1), Deftera Fantutte (66/1)

Verdict

LITTLE INDIAN may have only been a narrow winner here last time over 7f, but the step up in trip should suit and there is little reason to think that he shouldn't be able to follow that victory up today off a 3lb higher mark. The competition doesn't look too dangerous, with the exception of Monsiuer Royale, who can go close if coming on for his recent promising comeback run, and the improving Zabdi, who looks for a first career win here today. 1. Little Indian 2. Monsieur Royale 3. Zabdi
