Has shown that he can act on this surface and drops into selling grade for the first time. Finished a creditable fourth in a Kempton 1m4f handicap last time out and although looking like he could do further, should be effective in this class.
Takes a further drop in class here and also drops in trip with the handicap mark taking a dramatic fall. Acts well enough on this surface although the blinkers are removed this time around and if he settles better he would have decent chance in this grade.
Three-time AW winner who acts on fibresand although he hasn't won since 2015. Well below form last time out at Wolverhampton and essentially just added to his already patchy record.
Has the pedigree to act well on this surface but still a maiden (0/15). Tried seven times at this course (couple of third places) and now down in trip with a visor on for the first-time off a career low mark.
Has form on the fibresand (three-time winner on the surface) and won at the track last year off a 2lb higher mark. Tried over this trip last time out in headgear (removed now) and hinted at a slight revival but needs to be able to build on that effort.
Not a whole lot of strength in depth in this selling handicap although there are a couple who will appreciate this drop in grade. Ralphy Lad should be competitive in this class but he needs to show a little more than of late to be supported at a short price. It may well be that STONECOLDSOBA represents the best value though after his creditable run last time out and he is proven on this surface. Beyond those two Yul Finegold could be given a chance on his old form but if you are looking for one at a bigger price Quadriga would be the pick after he hinted at better last time out.
