Has a fair strike-rate around here and second of 11 at Newcastle last month, no match for decisive winner, but should be respected.
Good run to be third over C&D when last seen in December, freshened up since and has claims again.
Another good showing here seven days ago over C&D, that just second handicap start and while raised 1lb, should still be progressing.
Narrowly beaten here a fortnight ago over 2f shorter, should relish this extra yardage and looks to be one of the leading players.
Well held here on most recent visit in December, faces a stiff ask to turn it around despite going up in trip.
Went very close over C&D in December off current mark, less effective dropped in trip since but has his chance again now.
Twice went close last month off this mark, including at this trip. Clearly in good heart and has to be given a chance once again.
Not beaten far off this rating over C&D three weeks ago, should be on the premises again.
Hasn't won around here since March 2015, been off the track since April and three previous runs were not blessed with great promise.
Lightly raced on this surface, ran sound race over C&D last month when just over two-lengths fourth of 13 but failed to reproduce that dropped in trip since.
Was in good heart when last spotted, that was over fences in August. One win from 26 on this surface but very capable of grabbing place money.
Makes limited appeal on strength of three runs at this venue so far, most recent of which was over a mile last month. Up significantly in trip now.
Not beaten all that far over C&D in December, but isn't getting any favours at these weights and needs to find more.
Nine-race maiden has yet to threaten on this surface in three previous runs and comes back now having been struggling on turf when last seen in the autumn.

War Goddess (4/1), Temasek Star (5/1), Ruby Gates (6/1), Carvelas (6/1), Multiviz (7/1), Jack Blue (10/1), Shamash (11/1), King Christophe (12/1), Shake The Bucket (14/1), Pirolo (14/1), Any Time (16/1), Cristy's Call (20/1), Allez Motto (20/1), House Limit (25/1), Queluz (33/1), Marino Marvel (33/1), Golden Silence (33/1)
Temasek Star was a fair runner-up at Newcastle last month and is the owner of a decent record at thus venue so must be respected. Ruby Gates was also a bridesmaid here on her most recent appearance and should be seen to good effect going up in trip in this while War Goddess has shaped well in two recent handicap outings and shouldn’t take too long to get off the mark. A chance is given to CARVELAS however, who ran credibly in two visits last month behind some in-form rivals including when third behind Duchessofflorence three weeks ago. The winner has since scored off a 6lb higher mark while the runner-up was scheduled to run earlier on this card. Plenty of the others have questions over them but King Christophe should appreciate returning to this trip and Shamash can get involved based on previous C&D run.
1. Carvelas
2. Temasek Star
3. War Goddess
