Been in good form of late and often finishes with a rattle. Expected strong pace should suit and task at the weights looks feasible.
Ran well here two starts back in a first time visor and backed that up with a win at Wolverhampton next time at odds-on with that piece of headgear retained. Likely to need more in this field though.
Talented hold up performer who recorded back-to-back wins on turf at the end of the summer. Never got into the race at Doncaster when last seen but he's better than that performance and he's got a good chance of being at least equally effective on the AW. Should go close if fit after a mini break and race ought to be run to suit.
Minor promise on debut and drop in trip looks an obvious positive taking pedigree in to account but there's more likely runners in the line up.
Likely to need more of a test than this and not shown enough in three starts to date to warrant consideration here.
One win from 15 starts. Inconsistent performer and seems to be a filly who prefers the summer months but can't be ruled out.
Unplaced on all three runs to date and worrying she finds herself in this type of race rather than a handicap.
Yet to get her head in front in 12 starts to date and had better opportunities than this to lose her maiden tag.
Won nurseries last year at Lingfield and Chepstow over 7f and a mile respectively but in poor form of late and has a tough task from the weights.
Forecasts
Dandy Flame (10/11), Drop Kick Murphi (5/1), Brother In Arms (6/1), Peachey Carnehan (10/1), Critical Thinking (12/1), Joyful Dream (14/1), Princess Way (14/1), Love And Be Loved (25/1), Madam Prancealot (33/1)
Dandy Flame ought to get a decent pace to aim at and built on recent promise with a win at Wolverhampton. The fact he arrives here in form gives him a decent shout over many of these but it's DROP KICK MURPHI who is narrowly preferred, provided he's ready to go after a break. His pedigree suggests the switch to AW will be no issue and his form is among the best in the race. Peachey Carnehan is another who arrives in form and should be able and has run well at this track before.
1. Drop Kick Murphi
2. Dandy Flame
3. Peachey Carnehan
