Winner on the AW at Kempton in June and comes back from a long break here after running a creditable sixth at Windsor in September.

Both wins have come on the AW over this C&D and he'll probably appreciate a return to this trip after running over 5f the last twice.

Capable sort on the AW who won over 6f at Chelmsford in December and comes back to 6f after running over 7f the last twice. Still looks in good form and should run well here.

The losing run continues (last win came back in 2013) and despite the falling mark he continues to frustrate. Can often hamper himself with a slow start and has played up at the start.

Has won three times on the AW (0/5 on turf) and is a C&D winner off a mark of 62. The 9lb rise in the weights after that win appeared to hold him last time and he didn't look an easy ride on that occasion either.

Won twice last year once over 6f on the AW at Chelmsford in a maiden. Won a Brighton handicap (7f) subsequently off a mark of 65 and if he can cope with the break he has a lot more scope that some of these in this sphere.

C&D win amongst his three AW wins (6 in total) and looked as though he was coming back to form last time out at Kempton when adopting his usual front running role.

Won at Kempton and Lingfield last year but has looked below form of late. Looked to be just going through the motions last time out and needs to show more zip here.

10/1
Quirky but capable sort who won over C&D in November off a 2lb lower mark. Last two runs are best excused after a poor draw and a wide trip last time out and he could take a hand here if returning to that November form.

Better on the AW than turf and a winner over 6f at Kempton last time out (Rigolleto back in fourth) when getting a smooth run through. Up 3lb here and will require a career best to win off that mark.

0/6 on the AW and has so far failed to sparkle for this yard and more required to take a hand here.

Forecasts

Geoff Potts (4/1), Bridge Builder (9/2), Billyoakes (9/2), Dreams Of Glory (9/2), Bush Warrior (13/2), False Id (9/1), Head Space (10/1), Noble Deed (14/1), Masamah (16/1), Rigolleto (16/1), Compton Prince (18/1), Nora Batt (50/1)

Verdict

A fairly low key sprint to end the card with few of these looking to have lots of improvement in them but being capable enough in this grade. Dreams Of Glory is well respected but this 6f trip must be a slight doubt and stronger stayers like Compton Prince and Rigolleto are preferred. Head Space has had excuses for his last two poor runs and he would be worth a second look if returning to the form he showed in November over C&D. False Id has a little more scope than some of these if he is fit after a break while Bridge Builder can be given a chance if he travels better than he did on his last start where the handicapper appeared to have him in his grasp.Overall though, BILLYOAKES will appreciate a return to 6f, shaping well last time and looks ready to regain the winning thread. 1. Billyoakes 2. Head Space 3. False Id
