Very capable sort on the AW and really back to form of late at Wolverhampton especially when winning last time out. Takes a slight rise in grade here but should continue to be of interest.
In good form of late until disappointing at Newcastle last time out when well beaten over a mile on Tapeta. Four-time winner at Lingfield on this surface and will be suited by a return to this track/trip although is vulnerable to an improver these days.
Very lightly raced sort and makes his first foray away from Wolverhampton here over the longest trip that he's tried. Has to show improvement on his last run (handicap debut) off a mark that looks stiff enough on what he's achieved so far.
Three-time AW winner and in good form of late winning two of his last four races; handicaps at Kempton and Chelmsford over a mile. Did well to beat a subsequent winner last time out but had never won over a trip this far.
Has shown her best form at Wolverhampton (won three there) and is 0/4 at Lingfield on a different surface. Would have a chance on her last run at Wolverhampton but the different surface is a worry.
Has won at Lingfield in the past and well gambled last time out in a race he had won the previous year. Proved a major disappointment in that race this time around and would need to have shown more to be of interest here.
Back into handicaps after running in a seller last time out when looking to fare a little better than of late but this is tougher.
Some modest form in maidens on turf and may do better in handicaps. Not disgraced on her debut in that sphere over a mile at Lingfield off what looks to be a stiff enough initial mark.
Hardly a winning machine (2/44 on Flat) but does have a C&D win to his name and is a dual course winner. Still 3lb above his last winning mark though and might just need a slight ease in the weights.
Yet to win after eight attempts and the majority of her handicap efforts have looked rather laboured so far.
Big-priced winner of a small-field Lingfield maiden in December and has struggled a little in handicaps since then. Shaped a little better last time out but there doesn't look to be much margin in her mark.
Forecasts
Seven Clans (1/1), Pc Dixon (9/1), Runaiocht (10/1), Mary Le Bow (11/1), Raashdy (11/1), Attain (12/1), Etaad (14/1), Candesta (14/1), Sunshineandbubbles (16/1), Sheer Intensity (33/1), Barren Brook (66/1)
A fairly ordinary handicap with few looking to be ahead of their marks and this may well be best left to SEVEN CLANS who hasn’t been harshly treated for his win last time out. Candesta is another who has been in good form although there does look to be a slight doubt about him over this trip with his best form coming over a mile. Etaad was heavily backed last time out and his connections may well be on a recovery mission here but he needs to show much more zip to be considered. Attain has been capable of better in the past but looks to be on the downgrade these days and if you are looking for one at a bigger price then Runaiocht probably fits the bill the best.
1. Seven Clans
2. Candesta
3. Runaiocht
