Bit of a 6f specialist on his day and finished runner-up in two starts at Lingfield in December. Gone up in the weights for those efforts but he's clearly dangerous if allowed an easy lead, especially at this track. Drawn well for those tactics and may go close.
C&D winner who won impressively at Newcastle last time. Hard to gauge how strong that form is though and the handicapper has taken no chances putting him up 11 lb in the handicap. Hasn't won off this kind of mark since 2015 and may struggle here.
Sixteen runs since last win and handicapper not giving much back currently. Two-pound below highest winning mark and may struggle to get close to the pace from a high draw.
C&D winner who is still 2 lb above his last winning mark despite a 12-race losing run. Even though he's scored here before, this probably isn't his optimum track and others have stronger claims from a handicapping perspective.
One win from 29 starts and never placed on the AW in four attempts. Still above only winning mark and others preferred.
Just one win in 22 starts and only placed once in nine attempts on the AW. Best form is over the minimum distance so others preferred.
Won over C&D here in November 2015 but on a steady decline since and shown no improvement for switch to this yard. His better performances have come at this track but he's hard to fancy for win purposes in current form.
Two-time C&D winner who hasn't placed in last four starts. No doubt he's on a workable mark though and has a good chance if he can break cleanly.

New Rich (4/1), Spirit Of Wedza (9/2), Colourbearer (5/1), Indian Affair (5/1), Commanche (6/1), Humour (6/1), Quiet Warrior (6/1), Socialites Red (8/1), Mighty Zip (20/1)
QUIET WARRIOR was well backed last time out but appeared to be in need of the run and if he settles better, he could well take all the beating. Colourbearer has drawn well to execute the kind of tactics he enjoys and while there's plenty of pace in the race, he may be able to dictate if he gets to the front. Humour's best performances have come around and may be able to bounce back from a couple of poor runs.
1. Quiet Warrior
2. Colourbearer
3. Humour
