C&D winner who has been running well here of late. Still early days for this yard and possible there's still plenty more to come.
Quirky sort who has not been in the same form in three starts this season. This jockey tried a change of tactics on him last time but that failed and the suspicion is he'll need a quick pace to aim at and he'll look to be finishing to good effect late. Class drop will help but others preferred.
Four-time course winner whose probably a little better over further than this trip. In fine form recently but never won off a mark this high and he has to be vulnerable for win purposes.
Three wins from 16 starts but appears to have lost his way of late and unplaced on last six starts. A little promise on debut for this yard last time out and well-handicapped if he can build on that.
More effective over longer trips than this and unplaced on three starts for this yard.
Very poor in four starts for this yard and likely to struggle again off a mark higher than he's ever won off.
Both wins have come over further than this but back down to his last winning mark at least. Beaten as favourite last time and tries headgear for just the second time in his career (unplaced when trying cheekpieces five starts back). Hostage to fortune given running style but not ruled out if things drop right.
Ex Aidan O'Brien gelding who could well have more to give on his third start for this yard. Won a Dundalk maiden three starts back for old yard over a similar trip and he's likely to want further than this with time.
Two-time polytrack winner whose hit a bit of form of late. Just beaten as favourite here over C&D last week and he's likely to be live contender once again.
Forecasts
Byres Road (3/1), Supersta (4/1), Dutch Uncle (4/1), Mythical Madness (9/2), Perfect Cracker (7/1), Lacan (9/1), London (20/1), Trendsetter (28/1), Ready (50/1)
LACAN hinted at a resurgence last time out and he's well-handicapped on old form. He's taken to score ahead of Byres Road who was a beaten favourite over C&D last time out and he may gain compensation here. David O'Meara hasn't had Mythical Madness long and he may be able to squeeze more improvement out of him.
1. Lacan
2. Byres Road
3. Mythical Madness
