Very poor when last seen at this course on debut when slowly away and tailed off but there's a good chance he's better than that and he cost a small fortune as a yearling. In good hands and likely to show what he's capable of at some stage.
Trainer's in flying form but his runners usually need their first run and this trip may stretch him.
Minor promise on debut and trainer in flying form currently. Step up in trip not an obvious move (bred for speed) and others make more appeal.
Trainer capable of readying one first time out and this trip and track shouldn't cause any issues. Cost plenty as a yearling and one to treat with plenty of respect. Market watch certainly warranted.
Failed to break on terms on debut when 50/1 in a weak looking maiden and needs to have learned plenty from that to get involved here.
Not been out of the first three in five starts to date and sets a clear form standard for the rest to aim at. If he can perform up to his official rating of 80, it will take a potentially smart one to beat him in this field.
Unplaced on first two starts at triple figure odds and qualifies for a handicap mark after this race so handicaps maybe a more likely route for gaining a win.
Only beaten one rival home in two starts and will be able to compete in handicap company after this race. Likely to be better further down the line.
11th of 13 finishing in front of Born Legend on debut. However, that looked like a weak maiden and he needs to leave the bare form of that run well behind.
Still a maiden after four starts but signs he's been getting his act together of late. However, looks vulnerable to anything unexposed and slightly above average.
Forecasts
Draw Swords (10/11), Pete So High (11/8), Brother In Arms (11/1), Bush House (12/1), Born To Reason (33/1), Costa Percy (33/1), Hermeneutics (40/1), Dream Magic (100/1), Born Legend (100/1), Major Tom (100/1)
DRAW SWORDS is taken to finally get his head in front. He's been a little unlucky to date and keeps bumping in to one but there might not be anything too special in this line up. Bush House could be the exception to that. He cost a small fortune as a yearling and any market support could prove significant. Pete So High would need Draw Swords to under-perform on official ratings but he's capable of grabbing a place.
1. Draw Swords
2. Bush House
3. Pete So High
