Useful in handicaps and takes a slight drop in grade here and has won five times on the AW. Won at Chelmsford (5f) in December but disappointed on the fibresand (first try) last time out.
Won three times last year in handicaps and a Chelmsford claimer. Shaped as though he could make another step forward here after his third last time (did too much from the front) and given a more conservative ride would have a leading chance.
In good form last year winning handicaps at Kempton and Chelmsford, and a claimer at Lingfield. Has won over this C&D and ran a respectable race against some better treated rivals in a handicap last time.
Forecasts
Free Zone (15/8), Yeeoow (7/2), Illegally Blonde (7/2), Flexible Flyer (6/1), Doctor Parkes (7/1), Monumental Man (10/1), Catalyze (66/1)
The chances are that FREE ZONE will try and take this on from the front and even though he’s not the horse that he was he’s still capable of winning a race like this. Doctor Parkes has form that ties in with Free Zone and it would not surprise to see both Yeeoow and Flexible Flyer revive their fortunes in this grade.
1. Free Zone
2. Doctor Parkes
3. Flexible Flyer
