Course winner here 12 months ago and a contender on his penultimate outing when he was runner-up at Wetherby. Below form last time out and needs to bounce back to take a hand in this off top weight.
Much improved for this yard with wins on the Flat and over hurdles; the last two in that sphere coming at Catterick (one over C&D). Strong traveller who didn't really have a good pace to run at last time and despite a career high mark still one to take note of here.
Hurdles winner at Market Rasen in June and came back to something like that form at Sedgefield last time when finishing second, well clear of the remainder. Could take a hand here if he were to build on that Sedgefield form.
Had some decent form in Ireland and not disgraced on his first run for the yard over 2m (trip looked inadequate. Travelled smoothly last time out until he got outpaced and will be far more interesting here over a more suitable trip.
Comes back to hurdles after a couple of tries over fences but other look better handicapped here.
Not the most trustworthy of horses but very capable on her day and wins her share when in the mood. Looked like her last run would see her getting her eye back in when given plenty to do, and one to check in the betting.
Work to do with a couple of these based on his Sedgefield run and debateable whether he needs this test after looking amiss last time out.
Goes handicapping after some modest efforts in novice hurdles and off this mark has plenty to do against some in form rivals.
Has some positive handicap form to his name but his last two starts have been disappointing and it remains to be seen if he can comeback after a break.
Better ground here may well suit as he appeared a little stretched when running well at Wetherby last time. In the race for much of the way before looking as though he failed through lack of stamina and could well take a hand here.
Of interest based on his old form (progressive sort in 2013/14) before he suffered an injury. Back from 11 months off last time at Kelso he showed up well and he's 5lb lower than his winning mark three years ago. Obviously a fragile sort but if he can progress again here after a break he would be of interest.
Showed some of his old sparkle on his return in November but not really shown anything since then and best watched here.
Makes his handicap debut here but would have to have improved from his novice hurdle form to make a mark.
Won a bumper back in 2015 but his form since then has a rather modest look about it and more to do here.
Well held in all his five starts over hurdles and may well find this trip testing his suspect stamina.
Forecasts
Italian Riviera (11/4), Mr Snoozy (9/2), William Of Orange (13/2), Bank Bonus (9/1), Rhymers Stone (9/1), Cloud Monkey (9/1), Popelys Gull (11/1), Quill Art (25/1), Miami Present (25/1), Episode (33/1), Gold Chain (40/1), Dante's Way (40/1), Knocknamona (40/1), Quest Magic (40/1), Adrakhan (80/1)
This looks a competitive end to the card and Italian Rivera sets a decent standard although he would appreciate a race that is more strongly-run than the one he contested at Doncaster last time out. Mr Snoozy has some decent form to his name of late with Rhymers Stone one who would be worthy of note on his old expolits. BANK BONUS makes his second start here for the Ellison yard after shaping well over a trip that looked too short last time out, and over this longer trip he should be able to show his Irish form.
1. Bank Bonus
2. Italian Riviera
3. Rhymers Stone
