C&D winner last time out from Par Three but the latter has run poorly since. Third horse Top Set not beaten far in previous two outings. Mixes middle distance runs with hurdling but better on the Flat. Up five pounds for that win and has never won on the resultant mark of 54. Unlikely to improve to do so at this age. Place prospects.
Has been hurdling of late and has run just twice on the AW, finishing last on both occasions, though one was on debut. Down the field in a hot Haydock event last month but unplaced in two selling hurdles prior to that. Probably in decline and needs to drop a few pounds to be successful.
Unsuccessful in 13 attempts on the AW and hood, sporadically fitted, on again today. Suited by firm ground on turf and a return to that might be needed, though ran well on standard/slow at Kempton two runs ago. Veteran now and needs a few pounds less to get competitive.
Has run four times at the course, three times at the distance, and has yet to be placed. Not won for two and a half years and only his form in his penultimate race offers encouragement, when he was fourth to Stonecoldsoba. The first three from that have run since without success.
Another one with plenty of experience over C&D, having run here eight times. Those runs include a win and two placed efforts, the win off a mark of 49 with his customary blinkers worn. He switches to cheekpieces today for the first time for nearly two years when he was fourth here over an extended mile. His mark of 51 today looks enough to get him a place without quite getting his head in front.
Second here on English debut after a moderate career in Ireland. Ran okay here last time out over C&D but needs to step up markedly on the bare form of that run.
Unplaced in seven runs but signs of improvement in last three at Redcar, Southwell and Newcastle with blinkers worn. They are on again today and off the same mark of 54 should go well. Trainer's stable is functioning well with a winner and two places (one at 25/1) from his last nine runners so can't be ruled out if he continues steady improvement.
One win in 24 attempts and none from six on the AW (two here). A decent hurdler on his day and potentially well-handicapped on the Flat but hard to fancy in current form. Cheekpieces are added today but confidence in them working the oracle is limited.
A decent turf horse over middle distances and showed his versatility by winning at Chelmsford last Spring after being a runner up here at the distance. Ran well here two starts back, his finishing position of eighth disguised the quality of the performance where he was only beaten two and three quarter lengths. His fifth in his next and most recent race was again good with the distance beaten just three lengths. At a pound lower today he looks ripe for a win.
One of the younger ones in the field and improvement likely. Has run just seven times, twice on Kempton's AW and was beaten by a total of just ten lengths. Trainer in top form with his last two runners both winning at this course. The gelding has an absence to overcome but the trainer won with a similar type, Boychick, on Saturday. Leading contender.
Probably named to perfection and still a maiden after 32 starts. Did run well, in context on last outing which was here and is dropped a pound. Has been tried in all kinds of headgear and wears a hood and blinkers for the first time today.

My Renaissance (7/4), Smiley Bagel (3/1), Tred Softly (9/2), Rainbow Lad (7/1), Right Madam (8/1), Smoky Hill (8/1), Happy Jack (20/1), Senor George (33/1), Paddy's Rock (33/1), All Dolled Up (33/1), Moss Street (40/1), Sweeping Rock (80/1)
RAINBOW LAD is ripe for a win to confirm his AW ability matches his turf form. Tred Softly has been improving slowly but steadily of late and course winner Happy Jack tends to run well here and looks capable of grabbing a place.
1. Rainbow Lad
2. Happy Jack
3. Tred Softly
