Made a solid start in this sphere over three-miles recently, drops in trip here and full of potential.
Lightly raced sort and goes over fences in what looks a tough enough race, best watched for now.
Decent over timber but hasn't shown a lot in two starts over the larger obstacles this term.
Struggled both starts so far this season and likely to be similar tale now.
Hasn't been seen for 973 days and wasn't in great form then, not getting any younger and will likely need this run.
Solid efforts both starts in this sphere, odds-on favourite last time when runner-up at Thurles in November.
Remote fourth at Limerick in a beginners chase ten day ago, entitled to build on that effort over this longer trip.
Was travelling ominously well when falling two out at Leopardstown over Christmas, must have a chance if staying up now.
First attempt over fences was fair, third of 12 at Thurles last month, and entitled to come forward again.
Form over hurdles not especially noteworthy and tough task here on chase debut.
Blundered and unseated jockey on chase debut back in May, running in and out over hurdles since and makes little appeal today.
Fair bit to find with Joxer on last month's Thurles meeting.
Likely needed recent bumper run and prominent trainer wastes no time going chasing now
Hasn't built on decent opening show at this game in November but has been handed stiff tasks. Up in trip again now and possibly will see him in a better light.
His five runs over fences have not inspired a lot of confidence that he'll be winning a race of this nature soon.
Five-time winner over timber and promising start at this discipline when following home odds-on winner. Longer trip now and interesting contender.
Forecasts
Blazer (11/10), General Principle (7/2), Jett (9/2), Squouateur (11/1), Misty Lady (12/1), Hurry Henry (20/1), Master Appeal (25/1), Uncle Danny (33/1), Raise A Tail (33/1), Joxer (33/1), Fiddlers Way (100/1), Kilcooley Abbey (100/1), Cliffside Park (100/1), Fort Defiance (100/1), Cappa Doce (100/1), Myselfandjoe (100/1)
This looks a decent race and it will be no surprise should Blazer prove popular on the back of his promising chase debut. He won't have things all his own way however and JETT could make amends for his recent fall when travelling full of running at Leopardstown. General Principle has taken well to this discipline and merits respect, while Misty Lady could build on what was a really pleasing chase bow last time out.
1. Jett
2. Blazer
3. Misty Lady
