There's £50,000 on offer in this weekend's free-to-play ITV7 and Dave Smith has the guide you need for the crucial races.
13:35 Wolverhampton - Bombardier Golden Beer Lincoln Trial Handicap (Class 2)
Plenty with chances in this. Rathbone has hit the crossbar on his last two runs but would still need a career best here. NONIOS won with a lot of authority the last day from a very nicely timed ride. 3lb claimer Dylan Hogan takes the ride again and although he's berthed in stall 12, he will be held-up to somewhat negate that.
13:55 Ayr - Tennent's Light Handicap Chase (Class 3)
Possibly very well treated by the handicapper CLAN LEGEND has remained on the same mark for a good performance in a higher grade when last seen at Wetherby. He's a dual course winner over hurdles and can hold the attention of Drumconnor Lad who beat some good rivals over in Ireland at Christmas but shoulders a 9lb rise.
14:10 Wolverhampton - Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap (Class 2)
In an extremely tight handicap, tentative preference is for EL HOMBRE who is back 2lb below his last winning mark and is one of a number of course and distance winners in the field. He's on a 16 month losing streak and has a tough draw to overcome but could well be overlooked in the market.
14:30 Ayr - Heverlee Mares' Handicap Hurdle (Class 4)
The button may have been pressed too soon on JESSIEMAC last time out at Newcastle and both jockey and trainer will have learned a lot from that day. She idled on the run-in, looking a tired horse but can take this from Off The Hook.
14:45 Wolverhampton - Bombardier British Hopped Amber Beer Lady Wulfruna Stakes (Listed) (Class 1)
URBAN ICON steps back to 7f after some fine runs last year none more so than when coming third in a Listed contest in behind subsequent dual winner Dukes of Hazard. That form reads really well as the second and third in that race have improved their ratings since. He's got the plum draw in stall 1 and can land this if adapting to the surface.
14:55 Hereford - MansionBet GetItReady For Cheltenham Handicap Hurdle (Class 4)
It's feasible that BUSTER EDWARDS just didn't get home the last day at Warwick but he still finished in the placings. The handicapper hasn't relented but there is still plenty of scope off this mark. Oscar Asche will be well found in the market and can rate as the main danger.
15:05 Ayr - Tennent's Lager Handicap Hurdle (Class 3)
With some good form on soft ground and a strong traveller on his penultimate start WHOSHOTTHESHERIFF can land this. He jumped poorly and never got into a rhythm the last day at Newbury but this ranks as a bit easier. The Con Man is another dropping in grade and can give the selection most to think about.
