Put a pulled up behind him when finishing 25L fourth in a six runner 2m4f handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (heavy) last month. Steps up in distance racing off the same mark as when winning over an extended 2m4f at Plumpton (soft) in November.
First hurdles success came when winning a 2m5f maiden event at Ludlow (soft) in first time cheekpieces (retained since) in January. Decent 10½L fourth over the same C&D on handicap debut last week and is of interest upped in trip.
Completed a double when winning over an extended 3m1f at Haydock (soft) in December. Finished a good third off this mark at Warwick (3m2f, good-to-soft) subsequently and is a leading contender having won over this C&D in the past.
Recorded his first completion for this stable when finishing 44L eighth over an extended 3m at Haydock (heavy) in January. Races off a 5lb lower mark here and blinkers worn for the first time that day are retained.
Well beaten 45L fourth in a 2m7f handicap hurdle at Exeter (heavy) last time out. Previously a decent third at Ascot (heavy) off this mark but is vulnerable to less exposed rivals.
Best effort in three starts over hurdles came when finishing 19½L fourth in a 3m maiden hurdle at Ludlow (soft) last month. Market support would be notable with the extra distance here likely to suit on handicap debut.
C&D winner returned to form with a good 8½L second to an in form rival in a 3m1f handicap hurdle at Carlisle (soft) last time out. Races off a 2lb higher mark stepping up in grade.
Forecasts
Oscar Asche (15/8), Buster Edwards (11/4), Royal Claret (4/1), Juge Et Parti (11/1), Jully Les Buxy (11/1), Master Sam Bellamy (14/1), King Uther (25/1)
BUSTER EDWARDS finished strongly when winning at Haydock on his penultimate start and he can resume winning ways by taking this competitive looking handicap hurdle. The selection can see off Oscar Asche who is open to improvement on just his second start in handicap company while third place can go to top weight Juge Et Parti who is dropping in grade.
