A competitive heat to assess but LUCKY DEAL could just be more suited by this sort of opposition. He may well have just been outclassed in the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot last time out and his 5lb rise for a win at Haydock on his penultimate start may be more manageable in this contest.

On official ratings SPARKLE ROLL should have plenty in hand on the other three-year-olds in this race with the form of her third place in the Ribblesdale making her a leading player. She's nicely bred for this sort of trip.

Classy performer DONJUAN TRIUMPHANT can act on a sound surface but the forecast rain in Berkshire can only be seen as a huge plus to Andrew Balding's charge. His record with cut in the ground is impressive and he can get the better of The Tin Man.

Sam Twiston-Davies has won this race twice in the last 10 years and he rides TRIGGER NICHOL for Dr Richard Newland off a feather weight at the bottom of the handicap. He can be inconsistent but won well at Leicester three starts ago and showed his well being at Ffos Las last time out.

It has been eight years since a horse drawn in single figures won the Weatherbys Super Sprint. That could put pressure on Ventura Rebel from stall seven and Never in Paris could be a huge danger.
