Glen Durrant and Stephen Bunting are the biggest names in tonight's PDC Home Tour group so check out our betting preview of the action.
Sky Bet odds to top group: Glen Durrant 4/6, Stephen Bunting 5/2, Mike De Decker 11/2, Alan Tabern 10/1
Glen Durrant heads into the Group Two of the second stage of the PDC Home Tour as odds-on favourite to top the standings but a fellow former BDO world champion will be out to give him a real run for his money.
Stephen Bunting (5/2) also topped his group in the first round with maximum points while 11/2 shot Mike de Decker needed two bites at the cherry to get this far and Alan Tabern is the 10/1 outsider after he surprisingly sent Simon Whitlock packing.
Durrant and Bunting are the two class acts and proved they can handle the online format with ease when we last saw them with three wins apiece and impressive averages around three figures. We can expect them to produce a high-quality meeting tonight and I'm going to give the edge to the Bullet at eye-catching odds.
Tabern's success at 5/1 was among one of our best group winner tips from the opening 32 nights but it's hard to see him repeating the trick in a stronger group.
However the veteran journeyman did enough to suggest he could more than live with De Decker tonight and a victory over the young Belgian forms part of our double.Below these tips and Price Boost are the averages, scores and summary from each player's performances in the first stage.
GLEN DURRANT
Topped Group 19 (Report)
Duzza comfortably topped his group with a series of consistent superb displays that were a lot closer to regular tournament standard than many of his big-name rivals had managed. Averaging around 100 for all three matches wasn't achieved often during the the first round of groups so it's no wonder he's fancied to progress further.
STEPHEN BUNTING
Topped Group 18 (Report)
Stephen Bunting admitted before the tournament began that he much prefers to practice in a social setting rather than on his own at home but despite a wobbly opener - in which he still managed a 100 average over nine legs - he powered through. After a few more weeks of home practice, there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to improve on these levels.ALAN TABERNTopped Group 11 (Report)
As previously mentioned we packed Alan Tabern to spring a surprise at 5/1 as it had become clear the Home Tour format was a real leveller, and the gamble paid off.He handled the pressure well to beat Whitlock in the final game to progress and he's clearly comfortable in his own surroundings.
MIKE DE DECKER
Second in Group 12 (Report)
Topped Group 26 (Report)
Mike De Decker has played more games than anyone else in the second stage after his first group was affected by Keegan Brown's failing internet, which caused a revised mini group of three players. He only managed to average over 90 once in those four games as he finished runner-up to Max Hopp although his performances did improve in snatching top spot in his next appearance.
