The 16-time world champion lost a last-leg decider to Raymond van Barneveld on the Target Nexus soft-tip board last month, when the duo raised £15,000 for NHS charity Heroes thanks to hitting 15 180s between them, but bounced back to defeat Mikuru Suzuki 7-5 last Thursday.
On that occasion Taylor boosted the NHS's battle against the Covid-19 crisis to the tune of £6,800 - which included £100 for every time a double was hit at the first attempt - while the two-time women's world champion's efforts raised £4,400 for her chosen charity Peace Winds.
This Thursday, the Power will take on the Queen of the Palace in he third showdown organised by Paddy Power and Target Darts, but on this occasion it'll be £1000 for every maximum and an increased £200 for first-attempt doubles.
That will be great news for the NHS considering Sherrock's ruthless reputation on the outer ring that helped launch her to super stardom during the World Championship, where she defeated both Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic of course.
Since then she drew with Glen Durrant on the Premier League stage and qualified for the UK Open before lockdown and has recently been a regular competitor alongside Taylor in the increasingly popular Modus Live Darts Leagues.
The pair have met twice on their respective steel tip boards, with Taylor edging both high-quality showdowns 5-3 and 5-4 thanks to averages in the 90s, so expect even higher standard on the Nexus boards, where the targets are slightly bigger and the outer bullseye is also worth 50 and can be finished on.
Taylor has been superb during online competitions from the comfort of his own living room and almost hit a nine darter on Sunday while Sherrock had a barking dog and a young child to deal with.
Thursday's match will be available to watch on both Target and Paddy Power’s social media channels and broadcast on Sky Sports from 7pm on Thursday, May 14.
