Verdict

TUCO SALAMANCA sets a clear standard on his first foray into listed company following another personal best from a lofty handicap rating when second in the Ayr Gold Cup a fortnight ago. Last year's winner Shagraan returned to his best fitted with first-time cheekpieces when third in a Group 3 at Newbury recently and should give another good account if the headgear works as well for a second time.
