Verdict

A competitive finale. HINCHINBROOKE has shown improved form with back-to-back second-place finishes and with first-time cheekpieces a positive addition, he looks ready to win from his current mark. Well-bred Digub could improve again over the longer trip on handicap debut after her Southwell success, while Parlando is well treated on best form now dropped in class. Almekarem won an all-weather novice in September and remains on a workable mark if the first-time hood can help him settle better.
